How do I permanently delete my Facebook?

I found it on Wikihow, but when I try to add the contact info to a new account it says “There is an account with this email already.”
What do I do?
i know it isn’t permanently deleted like that though.

If you deleted your account recently, it might take it a bit to fully get out of the system of servers. Stuff bounces around for a little bit. I read somewhere that it could take two months for stuff to be fully fully fully gone from Facebook servers.
