Haircut help?

I do my hair cut for summer. Right now my hair looks like this: Only http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v286/193/21/30819144/n30819144_35892513_9815.jpg long, blah, blah, and at the center of my back. I'm thinking of cutting this way: I'm panicking http://www.delastars.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/jenny-mccarthy-dgg-014286.jpg because I had long hair for years and years … Do you think the shorter hair will look good on me?
