I can create a site using WordPress / hosgator. I'm trying this site to allow users to send something (quotes, etc), which in turn immediately to a new post on the site after hitting submit. I found a couple of plugins for guest posts, but they are all forms of large (which requires the contents of the title, position, name, email). I just want a small rectangular box with a submit button that I can put in my sidebar: no title + content (mainly inputs 1-2 only) and not the username / required people. Is there a way to do this (script / plugin / html)? I understand that there is a way around this to create a position and allow users to "comment". However, it allows me to include the role of facebook "like" button and / or input button on your tweet. I want that other guests can be / part of the individual entries.
From what I understand of your explanation, you can not modify an existing script to suit your needs, with the hope that you can copy and pasting a snippet … If this is the case, leaving the development and start learning! Scripts available will never be exactly what you want: you have to change, and in doing so, know what you do. We want an immediate update of a page with the comment that someone has entered. Go to http://www.web2coders.com and download some free scripts: "The script of Chat" and "Miniblog" is the kind of script you need. DO NOT cut and paste! Understanding code, otherwise you will never learn.
