facebook client for mac

Unable to connect to AIM or Facebook, but can access other sites …?
I'll try to explain it best. My school uses a network Client Access (Cisco staff member to enter), and has ridiculous requirements, and that forces us to use McAfee Anti-Virus (I'm a fan of "Take the sun from" VIPRE, and I tried to avoid it. The way it was this that our school allows us to play online to register our MAC address of the console. (Hence the need over NAC). So what I did that it was a router, MAC address using my PS3 on it to eliminate the need for Cisco Clean Access Agent. It works very well to play PS3 line and most Web sites. But some things like Facebook and AIM will not work. I tried using the PS3 port for AIM and such, but did not work. Does anyone has a solution about this (as well as a proxy, because most have not worked or have been too slow)?
Sounds like the network policy is configured to block the goal and Facebook or social networking sites.
