On Facebook, can you narrow a name search, even just by country?
Just seems rather inconvenient when searching for a friend to have to trawl through 500 profiles…
Once you search for the name, you can choose the “Advanced” option on the right of the searched name, just above all the results. It lets you search for people based on their email, their gender, home town, home state, home country, interests… etc. However, that only searches within your friends and networks.
You can also try the “Filter” tab right next to that to narrow down by religious views, age, gender, College, etc.
